Three-string sweep picking New

Level 5 metal

A pure technical exercise, no chord or scale involved: place three fingers on three neighbouring strings (G, B, high e) at different frets, then sweep the pick in one continuous motion from low to high, never stopping between strings.

Tips

The motion comes from the forearm, not the wrist: imagine the pick gliding across the strings as if playing one long string. Each left-hand finger should lift right after its note to avoid the notes overlapping.
