No, by design. Guitarshelf stays a site of text sheets and diagrams you follow at your own pace: no built-in metronome, no drum machine, no video player. A suggested tempo (BPM) is simply shown as text on some sheets, as a reference.

The level runs from 1 (complete beginner) to 6 (advanced hobbyist). It reflects the technical difficulty of the exercise (number and speed of chord changes, rhythmic complexity...), independent of the musical style.

The songbook lets you put together a practice session by grouping several sheets: manually, via a pre-filled themed songbook, or by random pick. You can then print it, download it as a PDF, export it as an image or text, or share it via a link.

Yes, a "Transpose to" selector is available on every sheet that has a chord progression. Chord names are recalculated automatically; the diagram is only shown if the resulting chord exists in the site's chord library.

On a sheet, click the diagram of the chord you're interested in: you'll get the list of every sheet that uses it. The chord library and the explorable fretboard also let you start from a chord or a fretboard position to find related content.

Yes, a "Left-handed mode" button at the top of the page flips the chord and scale diagrams horizontally for a left-handed fretboard.

French, English, Spanish, Italian and German. Some newer sheets aren't translated into every language yet: the French content is shown instead, with an explicit notice.

No. Guitarshelf has no user accounts. Your browsing history, songbook and preferences (left-handed mode, etc.) are stored only in your browser (localStorage), never on our servers.

Not automatically, since nothing is stored server-side. You can, however, export all your local data (history, songbook, preferences) as a file to re-import it on another device, or share a specific songbook via a link.

No. No tracking cookies, no advertising tools. An anonymous, aggregated view counter exists per sheet purely to help prioritize which content to improve, with no individual data or identifier.
