Pop in C — with a barre chord (F) New
A variant of the C pop progression (C-G-Am-F) that replaces Em with the barre chord F: the first exercise in the catalogue to introduce a barre chord, more demanding than an open chord.
Tips
Isolate the F chord first: lay your index finger flat across all strings at the first fret before adding the other fingers. Keep your thumb behind the neck, not wrapped over the top.
